Electronic converters, used in speed changers both for DC and
AC and in SAI, generate electromagnetic interference (EMI), sometimes
more commonly called "parasites".
The causes of this disturbance are abrupt changes in voltage
and current caused by semiconductor switching. This type of interference
usually causes faults with computers, automated programs, number
control equipment, etc. In order to filter this type of high frequency
disturbance and to comply with the European standards, CIRCUTOR
has two components:
EMI filters for the converter system, EMR-xx-xxx.
Chokes to avoid engine cable radiation. These chokes CEM-xx,
are attached between the converter and the engine.
