GENERAL POLICY
• That this general policy be communicated, understood, implemented, kept up-to-date, reviewed and that its effectiveness be continually improved at all levels.
• To comply with all applicable standards and legislation on Energy Management, Quality Management, Environmental Management, Health and Safety Management, Controlled Substances Restriction Management, Hazardous Substances Process Management, Laboratory Responsibility.
• To satisfy the needs of customers, regulatory authorities or other organisations that award recognition.
• To train employees so that they work safely, ensure that they are aware of possible hazards and preventive measures, the environmental impact of their workplace, energy efficiency improvement, and to ensure that they are committed to quality, hazardous substances restriction management and the abilities required of Laboratory personnel.
• To actively reduce risk and danger in the workplace, environmental pollution and improve energy use.
• To strive for continuous improvement in product and service quality, restriction of hazardous substances, continuous improvement in health and safety, the environment, energy efficiency and Laboratory management.
• To assign responsibility for activities relating to energy efficiency, quality, restriction of hazardous substances, health and safety and the environment.
• The implementation of this policy is the responsibility of management and each member of the Organisation must actively participate in carrying it out.
• The main purpose of the Laboratory is the reliability and conformity of the tests and calibrations that can be tracked with validated methods.
• Good professional practice and quality in the laboratory's tests and calibrations, with the independence, authority and competence required to ensure them.
